Do you actually need a pool fence with your Aloft pool?

In WA, a pool needs a safety barrier at least 1200mm high to keep little ones safe. That's the entire point of a pool fence — to put a 1.2-metre wall between curious kids and the water.

Second, if your pool sits within 900mm of your boundary fence, that fence may need a small height extension to stay compliant.

Here's the important part: this doesn't mean you can't put your pool hard against the boundary fence. You absolutely can — it may just need a height extension on that one fence.
