FAQ
How does buying an Aloft Pool work?
Once you're ready to dive in, here’s how it works: Get in touch – Call us or submit a quote request online. Site inspection – We’ll visit your property to assess access, check the site level, and identify if any additional work is required. Receive a formal quote – Based on the inspection, we’ll send you a detailed quote. Approval & deposit – Once you accept the quote and pay the deposit, we get started on the paperwork. Council lodgement – We handle all the approvals. Most councils take about 25 business days to process pool applications. Pool ordered & built – At the same time, we’ll place your pool order and begin construction. Final payment & install – Once council approval is received and the pool is ready, you’ll pay the balance and we’ll schedule delivery and installation. Simple, streamlined, and all taken care of for you.
Where can I see an Aloft Pool?
You’re welcome to view our Indigo Blue pool at our storage facility in Nedlands — just let us know when you’d like to come by. Alternatively, we can bring our Drift White pool straight out to your home, so you can see it in your own space, in person, with absolutely no hassle. If either option suits you, simply get in touch and we’ll make it work for you!
Do you take care of council approvals?
Yes – we’ll lodge the application for council approval as part of our process. All you need to do is choose your colour and install option.
How do I know if the pool will fit in my backyard?
Our pools are designed to be compact and to fit even in the tightest of backyard spaces. Before we come out, we’ll do a preliminary check of your site address to see whether our pools are likely to be suitable. During the quoting process, we’ll also confirm this in person. One of the big advantages of our pre-built above-ground pools is how easy they are to install in tight or awkward spaces.
How long will I have to wait for my Aloft Pool?
From start to swim, the process takes approximately 12-14 weeks. This includes: Council approvals, which take around 25 business days, and Pool construction and delivery, which we time to align with your approvals. We do everything we can to keep things moving quickly and smoothly.
Do I need to provide fencing?
We’ve got you covered. Our pools come with integrated compliant fencing and gate systems—no need to arrange separate pool fencing.
What if I have a tight or compact site?
No problem—Aloft Pools are perfect for compact spaces. If access is limited, we may need additional crane time (which we’ll quote upfront).
What are the heating options for my pool?
Given the compact size of our pools and Perth’s warm summers, most people find their Aloft Pool sits at a comfortable temperature without any form of heating. Pool temperatures will naturally vary depending on factors like where your pool is positioned in the backyard, how much direct sunlight it receives, and the surrounding ambient temperature. If you’d like to boost the warmth, we recommend starting with a simple pool blanket — it’s a cost-effective way to retain heat and can noticeably increase water temperature. Alternatively, we can supply and install an energy-efficient heat pump if you prefer a more consistent temperature year-round. Feel free to contact us if you’d like more information about heating pumps or other add-on options we can provide.
How do I know if my site needs any site works done beforehand?
When we come out to do your quote, we’ll check the site and let you know if there’s anything that needs to be done before your pool can be installed or delivered. We’ll always give clear advice upfront – and if any work is needed, we’re happy to quote for it too.
